Business Support Co-Ordinator

Our client a leading supplier of medical and safety technology and equipment is seeking a Business Support Co-Ordinator for a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Business Support Co-ordinator provides support for a range of administrative and related activities to support our clients businesses in UK. The primary support is for the Legal/Compliance/Data Protection Manager with additional activities to support other 'Shared Service’ functions.
All employees have a responsibility to comply with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and minimise any impact on the environment whilst carrying out their duties.
Undertake a range of administrative and organisational tasks requiring application of knowledge and understanding, including:
Legal/Compliance/Data Protection dept
Preparation of contractual agreements according to provided templates;
Preparation and issuing of notices and documents;
Liaise with internal and external partners;
Attendance at meetings and drafting of minutes;
Maintenance of electronic filing of contracts and other documents;
Liaise with IT department and Data Commissioner as required;
Provision of information to customers (including responses to tenders) and other third parties as required;
Maintenance of employee training records.
Act as initial point of contact in absence of Head of Legal UK&Ireland and liaise as required with relevant department in parent company;
Facilities dept
Liaise with FM Helpdesk and third-party contractors at Hemel Hempstead site as required.
Maintenance of building-related records in relation of Hemel Hempstead site.
Act as initial point of contact in absence of Hemel Hempstead Site Manager, and liaise as required with UK facilities department
Shared Services generally
The tasks and responsibilities above are typical of the duties the post-holder will be expected to perform. It is not necessarily exhaustive and other duties of a similar nature and level may be required from time to time
You will bring to the job:
Experience of working in a responsible stand-alone position undertaking a range of administrative and Organisational tasks.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Good teamwork, facilitation and collaboration skills
Ability to communicate with people at all levels in the organisation and externally
Excellent knowledge of MS Word and Outlook or similar IT systems
Ability to work without close supervision and manage competing demands on your time
