EC&I Engineer

Outside of IR35, this 6 Month contract EC&I Engineer position is with a UK based EPCM company, specialising in the installation and commissioning of manufacturing plants / equipment within the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and FMCG sectors.
Main duties of the EC&I Engineer:

To carry out EC&I engineering design in support of company projects.
To consult with the company's clients to correctly interpret their EC&I requirements and make proposals which fit these desires.
To work with other engineers in the company to develop proposal specifications and cost.
ATEX / DSEAR / SIL
EC&I Equipment specifications for both safe/hazardous area applications.
Control Panel Design & development.
Effectively coordinate, communicate, and monitor progress against plans and processes, developing strong client relationships.
The successful EC&I Engineer will have a general electrical engineering background and up to date competence of design and implementation of control/instrumentation systems in process manufacturing applications. Suitable candidates for the EC&I Engineer role will be HNC or Degree qualified, Incorporated Engineer member of relevant Professional Body and have a number of years chemical site experience or major project experience.

The EC&I Engineer has scope to progress into other areas of the business. This position also has the benefits of flexi-time, Hybrid working, 23/24 days Annual Leave plus statutory days and a Peoples Pension.
