HR Assistant- Basingstoke

This is a stable opportunity for someone with HR Admin experience or a strong background in administration with an interest in HR to join a well performing property development business in Basingstoke. You will need to be in the office 5 days per week for the initial training period, so living within a commutable distance of Basingstoke is essential.

Our client is a property development company with a number of offices across the UK. They have enjoyed steady turnover over for the last few years and are in a very stable position moving into 2022. You will be working alongside the HR Operations Manager and supporting the regional Head of HR on a daily basis.

Description

The HR Administrator- Basingstoke will be responsible for:

Forming and maintaining employee records
Becoming the first point of contact for employees with any HR related queries
Updating databases internally e.g. sickness absence and maternity leave
Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents e.g. employment contracts
Communicating with external providers and partners
Reporting regularly on HR metrics such as employee turnover and absence
Providing Payroll with relevant employee information e.g. salary and holidaysProfile

The HR Administrator- Basingstoke should have the following skills/ qualities:

Strong background in administration
Desire to work in HR/ previous generalist experience
Hard working and motivated
Approachable personality
