Technical Sales Manager - Pharmaceutical Ingredients

Our Client is a fast growing speciality Manufacturer and Distributor of raw materials to the UK Pharmaceutical, Fine Chemical, Agrochemical and Veterinary markets.

They are now seeking a Technical Sales Manager – Pharmaceutical Ingredients for their Life Science Division. This position will be home based and location within the UK is flexible. The geographical territory is the UK. This position is a full-time permanent role and will report to the Division Manager

Key Responsibilities

* Achieve quarterly and annual sales budgets for a range of raw materials / pharmaceutical ingredients including Excipients, Intermediates and APIs at defined prices

* Achieve beneficial customer relationships by making frequent customer and prospect visits to Pharmaceutical, Fine Chemical, Agrochemical and Veterinary companies and achieving service levels that demonstrate the Division values

* Add sales information to Customer Relationship Management software

* Develop key markets through defined strategies

Qualifications and Experience

* Educated to at least BSc level or equivalent in a relevant technical / scientific discipline

* Seasoned technical salesperson conversant in and knowledgeable of the UK pharmaceutical ingredients market (including Excipients, Intermediates and APIs) with experience of UK companies and customers

* Excellent communicator at all levels

* Able to meet and exceed customer partnership expectations

* Determination, energy, tenacity, enthusiasm and loyalty

* Proactive and self-driven with strong time management skills

In return, our Client is offering a basic salary of c£40,000 per annum (salary is negotiable dependent on experience) plus benefits which include an expensed company car, five weeks holiday, pension, healthcare and a generous bonus scheme
