Our client is a highly respected and reputable cross-platform Christian media organisation with 3 successful radio stations, on demand broadcasting, events, interactive websites and e-communications, and an enviable average weekly audience of around two million people.

As Sales Team Leader, you will be customer facing yourself, have a target of your own to achieve and will thrive in a target driven environment. In addition, you will lead and inspire a team of 3 media remote working sales professionals, ensuring productivity is high, and sales targets are met. You will lead by example, setting high standards for yourself and your team. You will possess excellent communication and coaching skills and enjoy leading, inspiring and developing others. A working knowledge of sales CRM platforms is a distinct advantage as you and your team will use CRM capability to manage the sales funnel, report on progress and forecast results.

Essential skills
• B2B telephone sales and account management experience in media advertising sales and able to demonstrate a track record of achievement
• Supervisory or people management experience in a sales setting with evidence of formal training
• Good working knowledge of performance management processes
• Ability to manage the sales pipeline and sell to the close
• Results-oriented with a genuine passion for exceeding targets
• Good working knowledge of CRM platforms at individual and team level
• Good networking skills
