Project Manager

Capita are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our pensions business on a permanent basis, working from home. As a Project Manager you will work closely with our Sales, Pensions Operational and Technology teams to end-to-end project manage the smooth transition of services onto our Pensions Administration platform, and/or lead on client and internal improvement projects.

Job Description:

What you'll be doing:
Management of multiple implementation or improvement projects both internally and for our clients.
Core project management responsibilities through the project lifecycle.
Supporting and driving a client focused culture in the team and ensuring that continuous improvement and excellent customer experience are at the heart of all activity.
Identifying areas of process improvement and driving change in order to implement these improvements.
Supporting other team members through shared learning and experiences.
Understanding the business and ensuring you are fully conversant with quality requirements within the service and facilitating the ongoing development of the contract strategy.
Maintenance of strong, open, day-to-day relationships across Capita and our clients

What we're looking for:
Can evidence experience of end to end project management of large scale, complex projects including examples of difficult clients, overrunning/modifying project plans, preventing project collapse
Can demonstrate the ability to create effective project documentation such as PIDs and specs
Can demonstrate the ability to apply project management theory to practical situations
Has lead teams of project managers and multiple workstreams
Prince 2 or equivalent Project Management qualification
Keeping the client at the heart of everything that we do, developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Strong Communication Skills with the ability to flex style and approach to the situation, both written and verbally
Ability to work to strict deadlines and to time manage and prioritise whilst working in a pressurised environment.
A self-starter who is comfortable working by self or a wider team
Pensions administration/environment experience or similar would be advantageous.
