Registered Manager

We're looking for a talented Registered Manager to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of managing the day to day running of all aspects of a residential home for individual with complex needs.

The Role:

This based in the company's Birmingham office, as the Registered Manager you will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of two 6 bedded residential services that are located right next to each other. The services specialise in supporting adults ages with complex learning and physical disabilities. You will be responsible with ensuring the residents receive person-centred high-quality care.

Tasks

Daily management and positive development of the care staff.
Working closely with your deputy and seniors to ensure that the home runs smoothly and safely.
Conducting care and risk assessments and ensuring a written individually tailored care and support plan has been created and agreed, that respects the service user's wishes and promotes their dignity and privacy and update in a timely manner.
Managing any complaints and/or safeguarding issues.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Registered Manager role will have relevant experience of managing the day to day running of all aspects of a residential home for individual with complex needs this may be in a deputy or care manner position.

You'll also need experience of meeting all regulatory and statutory requirements, including CQC, health & safety and local authority requirements.

Plus, it's vital that you've got experience of manging people to perform well, through team working, leadership, mentoring and supervision.

In addition, you'll need the following:

A NVQ level 3 or above
Excellent communication skills, written & oral
Good knowledge of CQC, health & social care act, DoLS and mental capacity act

You'll also need to be flexible to work varied hours to suit the needs of the service and be proactive and enthused to help shape an outstanding future for the service.

The Package:

Basic salary: £29,000 - £30,000 per annum
