Social Media and Website Coordinator


Part time - 2 days a week (15 hours)

We are delighted to assist a local cancer charity in their search for a part time Social Media and Website Coordinator

Sam’s Diamonds helps women with cancer, and is committed to reaching more patients, helping to improve their lives, through-out their journey and beyond. This wonderful charity require an outstanding social media and communications function help drive that ambition.


* To ensure communication of activities, and other events are communicated clearly to their members and the public when necessary.

* Develop and implement the charity’s social media strategy, including marketing plans, raising awareness of their work, aims and goals

* Develop and maintain online content that attracts attention, generates interest and is easily shared

* To lead and coordinate the development of the website - content, look and feel, branding experience, messaging, site features, information architecture, and functionality

* Manage budget in key areas including content creation and design, e-commerce, work order testing, online tracking and analysis, new site concept development, and search engine marketing.

* Apply new technology, media, interactive research and emerging standards related to internet marketing and digital media.

* Prepare reports and statistical analysis of progress for the CEO and the trustee board


* Experience in the design and delivery of integrated social media strategies that maximise reach and impact and can be integrated in wider communications activity.

* Excellent graphic design, video editing and social media skills

* A passion for delivering social media and digital communications campaigns

* An appetite for design and creative problem solving and a belief in the difference effective social and digital communications can make.

* Excellent planning, management and organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines

* Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build and manage relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders

* Demonstrable interest in and commitment to improving the lives of cancer patients and understanding of the journey they may take
