Change Manager

Change Manager (GDS) – remote – 3 months – up to £500 pday inIR35)

Our client are looking for an experienced Change Manager - a new Change Delivery Framework is to align waterfall and Agile projects that are subject to Government Digital Services governance and standards. Some initial work has been undertaken and the purpose of the role is to complete the definition of the framework.

Key Responsibilities:

•Design of the New HSE Change Framework

•Engage internal and external stakeholders (e.g. DWP) to understand requirements and material that is already available

•Development of supporting process, procedures, and guidance

•Refresh template library, ensuring all templates are defined and fit for purpose and consistently branded / formatted

•Develop clear implementation plan

•Build and embed a sufficient assurance / governance framework based on stage gateway reviews, developing forms and submission procedures that may integrate with SharePoint

•Design and configuration of SharePoint to reflect new processes and procedures

•Change Management, the communication and training of projects and individuals on new processes and practices

•Development of Project Online to reflect new processes and procedures

•Draft and Develop Guidance / Training / Comms material / How 2 Manuals covering stages of change and assurance reviews

•Provide some ad hoc support to BAU activities including but not limited to:

•Day to day 2nd Line assurance of inflight projects

•Maintaining a view on the wider portfolio of change

•Reporting independently programme and project progress

Essential Skills and Experience:

•Experience of implementing Change Delivery Frameworks successfully in previous organisations.

•Excellent understanding of Business Change / readiness activities.

•Excellent understanding of the key principles of Project Management.

•Excellent understanding of Agile principles and processes.

•Experience of Government Digital Services processes and governance.

•Experience in project Governance and Assurance Reporting.

•Extensive experience of developing and implementing new processes / policies / business changes.

•Experience of creating and delivering training.

•Experience of configuring SharePoint sites and MS Project Online.

•Relevant Project and Programme Management qualifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, Management of Portfolios
