Interim Transactional Services Manager

This role covers P2P&I2C Finance operations. A large team including a significant outsourced AP operation, this role requires strong people management skills. Other key stakeholders are business operations, suppliers and site finance teams, so the ability to influence and communicate are essential. There is a requirement for process knowledge and the ability to be hands-on to effect change and support the team.

Description
The main responsibilities within this role are:
Key relationship manager for outsourced AP provider based in India
Ownership of the end to end P2P process (Month end debt, HY/FY debt targets, DSO)
Manage payments in accordance with payment targets set by the Treasury team
Working closely with the Procurement Department, Supplier agreements should incorporate process considerations to best match the company ways of working
Escalation point for I&T Hub activities including governance and control responsibility plus working with stakeholders to improve ways of working and collective performance
Change control and strategic planning for I&T Invoicing, Revenue&Weekly P&L activities including risk management and quality assurance, plus performance management including service reviews and customer surveys
Developing a culture and environment of continuous improvement focused on service performance measures and efficiency of working practices
Project work to support change and improvement across the business as required
Profile
The successful candidate for this position will have:
A full and recognised accountancy qualification with a minimum of five years' post qualification experience.
Finance Service Centre management experience, specifically P2P
Experience of managing an offshore operation is desirable
Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration, with the mental agility to adapt to fast moving requirements
Strong project skills, operating both as a project member and/or a project leader
A clear and demonstrable track record of self motivation and drive for results
A diligent and logical mindset to quickly understand processes, consider implications of change and act decisively

An excellent day rate (inside IR35) and a very quick start. Please note that this role will be hybrid working and will involve a few days in the office each week.
