Claims Operations Performance Manager - Work From Home

Having made a name for itself overseas within the insurance sector, our client has been appointed to a large volume of work for one of the biggest names in the UK market.
This position calls for a strategic and forward-thinking re/insurance professional with experience in the operations and technology areas of all aspects of the claims environment.
Experience of working in London Market Broking and specifically, claims is essential. Expertise in claims processes and technology is also required, along with the ability to analyse claims data and identify areas for improvement in relation to the outsourced service. You must have experience of claims quality controls and a continuous improvement mentality.
This role will sit between the retained claims team and the outsourced claims operation, working with the respective teams to address challenges, manage issues, complaints and escalations to ensure an effective partnership and a seamless proposition to market.
You will regularly interact with senior internal and external stakeholders, including brokers and clients. Superior interpersonal skills and demonstrable success in running projects and re-alignment of various processes are necessary for this position
Key duties and responsibilities:
Oversight reporting and analysis for the outsourced service, identifying areas for improvement, working with relevant stakeholders to drive activities to address.
Owning procedures and quality control environment.
Leading projects to aid the design, development and implementation of various claim operation initiatives, including the target operating model, key performance indicators and dashboards of various kinds.
Key point of contact to resolve issues, challenges or complaints between the 2 teams to ensure harmonious and effective working relationships
Skills requirements:
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the insurance market, insurance principles and the ability to apply them in the day-to-day activities.
Proficiency in the use of market systems and processes to fulfil role.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and insurers alike.
Planning and organising workload effectively, and multi-tasking in order to meet business timelines.
Analysing complex data effectively and presenting it appropriately.
Acquiring and maintaining an accurate level of product and regulatory knowledge as is appropriate to the role.

Ensuring that all statutory and company regulations are followed to protect clients, colleagues and the business interests of the company.

This is a remote-working role, where you will benefit from a salary of up to £65K plus benefits.
