Account Manager

Due to a new client win we are currently looking for an experienced Logistics or Freight Forwarding professional to be a dedicated Account Manager for our new high spend client. This role would suit an experienced multimodal freight forwarder or an experienced Logistics Account Manager.
Key responsibilities:
• Client Interaction, developing solid relationships with the client.
• Develop an understanding of client' requirements and preparing customised solutions.
• Produce account plans with three- or six-monthly reviews.
• Compile reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts
• Ensure Service Levels and Customer Satisfaction are delivered
• Ensure Data Quality in Reports and KPIs.
• Proactively handle customer shipment routing requests.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement with all involved internal and external parties via regularly scheduled business reviews.
• Creation of job files / Booking of FCL, LCL, FTL and air movements.
• Day to day invoicing and profit reporting / Manage purchase matching queries.
• Deals with any customer complaints and resolves the issue as necessary
• Communication with overseas offices/ partners.
Minimum Requirements:
• For this position, the successful candidate should provide a strong proficiency in customer management, with a good transport and logistics background, whilst showing proven record in stakeholder management.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Well organized and structured mindset
• Entrepreneurship minded.
• Ability to work under pressure in an organized and effective manor
