Content Marketing Executive

We're delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well reputed local company, who are currently looking for a talented and creative Content Marketing Executive to join their friendly and industrious team.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the Marketing team to deliver a seamless and innovative Content Marketing plan across all brands. We're looking for individuals with up-to-the-minute marketing expertise who can create engaging, channel-relevant marketing content, both online and offline. You'll join a growing business which is proud of its excellent reputation for delivering a wide range of high-quality products and services.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for the role to develop into a permanent opportunity. Due to business requirements, applicants should be available to start immediately or within 2 weeks' notice.
Duties and responsibilities:
Producing content across all channels for website, direct mail and brochures
Scheduling and delivering the company content marketing plan
Running campaign-driven content, writing campaign schedules and planning in relevant content across all marketing channels
Ensuring that website content for all brands is populated and managed on an ongoing basis
Working with the Content Marketing Manager and the Senior Content Executive to schedule all direct mail activity
Implementing the company email marketing plan based on the Content Schedule
Designing and writing engaging content for a range of email newsletters
Working closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Executive on data selections for mailings
Reviewing marketing and content performance and audience engagement on an ongoing basis
Planning and writing social media posts across all channels, to coincide with product launches
Sourcing and scheduling engaging multi-media content
Being a key point of contact for the business for all decisions relating to the brand
Managing the company media libraries including imagery, videos, logos and style-guides
Maintaining relationships with key suppliers and keeping up to date logins for third party media libraries
Skills and experience required:
Strong copywriting skills and the ability to produce varied and inspirational content across multiple channels
Previous experience of using email marketing software (such as Mailchimp) ? and web analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics)
Comfortable with using social media platforms for posting and scheduling
Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Produces clear, engaging and grammatically accurate content, reports and correspondence
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Works successfully to deadlines, and is able to manage multiple projects and tasks
Takes a creative and imaginative approach, with the confidence to put forward and develop new ideas
Shows a good level of commercial awareness
Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team, with the ability to build strong professional relationships with stakeholders
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm with 1-hour unpaid lunch - 37.5 hours per week
Flexible working available on request in line with flexible working policy - to be discussed at interview stage
Salary and benefits:
£20,000 - £22,000
