SEO Lead

Central Employment are delighted to be partering with one of the UKs fastest growing, award-winning Retail brand. Due to growth of within their in-house Performance Marketing function, they are looking to hire an SEO Lead. The role would operate from their North East HQ, offering an existing opportunity to develop and shape their Organic SEO. Purpose of the SEO Lead role: You will be responsible for helping to define the strategy, daily management, operation and delivery of our SEO efforts globally across multiple site locales, for a significant and crucial source of traffic and revenue. The role will suit someone who is looking for an exciting growth opportunity in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make an immediate impact. We are looking for someone with deep technical knowledge who is able to engage with our team of Key responsibilities Devise and execute a short-term plan and then a longer-term strategy to deliver high levels of measurable growth in organic traffic and revenue; always thinking globally Drive SEO forward and ensure best practice in the discipline becomes the norm Work across the business collaborating with key stakeholders getting buy-in to elevate and execute SEO initiatives Analyse and create strategic recommendations for online content architecture Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes Monitor, analyse and draw actionable insights from search performance data from sources including Stat, AHrefs, SEMrush and Google Search Console Generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major SEO metrics, traffic, ranking etc. Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance to company goals Keep pace with search engine and SEO industry trends and developments Skills and experience Extensive experience of professional SEO experience Experience working with popular SEO tools Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Bing certification is a plus Knowledge of HTML/CSS An understanding of our technology stack and how this impacts SEO (React JS) Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex and technical data to a non-technical audience in a way that is easily digestible. Have an ability to tailor content based on the audience at hand Commercial awareness within a digital marketplace Strong analytical skills and the ability to manipulate data to produce meaningful information An aptitude for problem-solving and innovation, with a proactive approach to your work Be in-the-know about industry trends (both online retail, eCommerce and technology) and ensure were constantly pushing the boundaries with SEO
