One of our impressive Ealing Primary Schools are looking to draft an ASD Teaching Assistant who can work alongside two students who have barriers to learning - are you the right candidate for the role? ASD Teaching Assistant Job Specification ASD Teaching Assistant role in Ealing, West London Full-time position, Monday Friday, 08:30 16:00 Develop and prepare materials for 1:1 and classroom sessions to inspire learning and engagement Keep written records of pupil observations Work alongside the school SENCo and compile an EHCP Provide effective support to less experienced colleagues, modelling good practice This ASD Teaching Assistant role will include extensive in house and external training, designed to further develop your profile, and there will be support and supervision from the SENCo. The pupils in question are in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and make steady academic progress, but the schools new ASD Teaching Assistant will be charged with engaging these students 1:1, helping them break down learning and manage their workto help them progress at a faster rate, along with developing their social skills.
