About the role We are seeking an experienced frontend developer who is comfortable leading on web projects and supporting clients technically. As a part of our frontend development team, you will work on a wide variety of external and internal projects, translating designs into clean, consistent and considered code. You'll be passionate about your self-development and aware of what's going on in the industry. You'll appreciate sharing your knowledge among other members of the team and with other people within the organisation. You'll be driven by quality, attention to detail and have a creative flair. Must have's Extensive knowledge working with JavaScript libraries such as React Knowledgeable in ES6 code and JavaScript skills and JavaScript fundamentals. Be fluent in HTML, HTML5, CSS, SQL/DB and related frameworks such as SASS or Styled Components Experience in working with RESTful APIs. An understanding of content management systems Hands-on experience with relevant CI/CD tools (e.g. TeamCity, CodeCommit) and automated testing, version control(Git), issue tracking, project management tools A good understanding of accessibility guidelines for WCAG 2.1 A grasp of AWS, Docker containerisation and cloud deployment Have strong communication skills Key Responsibilities Must be comfortable estimating work Help in determining the strategic and tactical direction of our front-end architecture Participate in customer meetings, create architect solutions, contribute to and produce proposals, Statement of Works and technical documentation. Suggest tools, technologies, and best practices improve our stability, performance and site quality Nice to have Ability to think Mobile first Exposure to some back-end technologies (.NET, PHP) Project experience within an agile software development environment Understanding SEO strategies and how to implement them would be a plus.
