Service Manager - Portsmouth UTC

We are seeking a strong Service Manager who is experienced in delivering high performing patient focused services. You would join our growing team in our modern, airy and clean Urgent Treatment Centre. Ideally, you will demonstrate a fortitude in developing high performing operational services, a desire to improve outcomes, be able to provide dynamic leadership and be adept in engaging with all stakeholders within the healthcare sphere. Portsmouth UTC is a high performing service which is open from 8am to 10pm Monday to Sunday, treating a wide variety of patients with minor injury and or illness ailments. As the UTC Service Manager, you will be driven, resilient, pro-active and able to galvanise teams to optimise opportunities for performance improvement through your exemplary leadership. You will ensure robust organisation of rotas and work in collaboration with the wider senior management team to ensure fulfilment of shifts. You will ensure that all compliance is within CQC standards and maintain strong external and internal stakeholder relationships. You will ensure data quality and adhere to tight deadlines for producing a range of reports for the CCG and the board. You will also be versed in commercial service performance which will support the fulfilment of contractual KPIs. You will work with the clinical leads to ensure adherence to clinical pathways and work with the team to identify ways to further improve clinical pathways so they continue to be effective, efficient and at all times safe.
