On behalf of this leading UK distributor of chemicals, we are looking for an ambitious Account Manager to join their expanding Precision Cleaning unit covering the North-West Area. Do you have a Chemistry or Chemical Engineering related Degree and looking to utilise your knowledge in a commercial role? This Account Manager role is a career opportunity which involves looking after an existing set of customer accounts, maximizing sales whilst building and maintaining lasting customer relationships. The role of Account Manager will also identify new business and subsequent sales development. In the role of Account Manager, you will need to be based in the North-West. Your time would be split between working from home, customer site visits and the Head Office in Runcorn when required. If this sounds of interest, apply now to beat the new year rush of applications What’s on offer: Job Type : Full-time / Permanent Salary: Competitive Working Environment: Home-based / Office-based / Field-based Location : Runcorn The role in more detail: Promote a range of precision cleaning products and services to current and prospective customers Look for new customers to sell new and existing products Deal with customer enquiries, orders, and pricing queries Manage and update the CRM customer database system Arrange and plan customer visits; produce visit reports Be well organised and maximise the potential in the sales area Prepare quotations/respond to price requests Respond to sample and information requests quickly Meet/exceed agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and performance targets. Required skills and experience: University Degree – Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Experience in the Chemicals sector is required Full UK Driving Licence Highly motivated and proactive with strong commercial acumen Desire to deliver exceptional customer service Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills Good presentation, written and communication skills Previous experience in a field-based sales role would be beneficial Experience in Precision Cleaning Sector would be beneficial Ideally, you will have knowledge of the Aerospace, Medical, Automotive and Electronic sectors If this sounds of interest, then please click the apply button right away and attach an up-to-date CV.
