Test Rig Engineer

Test Rig Engineer (Electrical) My client is looking for a Test Rig Engineer (Electrical) to join their onsite team with a Gloucestershire based Aerospace business. About the role: As a Test Rig Engineer (Electrical), you will ensure continued operation of deployed test equipment in support of the product life cycle. Responsibilities As a Test Rig Engineer (Electrical) your key duties will include: - Timeline investigation and resolution of issues creating a stop on production or reduced first pass yield. - Use of the Test Rig Maintenance Management System to document work requests and sustainment activities. - Maintaining the configuration of Test Equipment deployed for operational use. - Support with the coordination of activities for the timely resolution of corrective actions, significant issues or non-conformance. - Support the procurement of sub-assemblies, services, spares and consumables. Skills and Experience To be considered for the role of Test Equipment Engineer (Electrical), you must have: - A minimum of 3 years' experience within a relevant engineering sector (Aerospace, Automotive, Test Equipment) - Experience interfacing, repairing, and designing Test Equipment - Knowledge of developing test equipment solutions for multi-axis, closed-loop, servo-hydraulic and electromechanical Test Systems Further details available upon application.
