Transactional HR Administrator

Arvato have an exciting new HR Administration position within our Willerby office near Hull. This role is permanent, 20 hours per week flexible working and a minimal one day working from home opportunity. Purpose : Arvato is creating a completely new team to support the creation of and transformation of a complete Human Capital System (encompassing payroll, T&A, HR and intelligent BI) dedicated to internal use only. It will enable us to make better, faster decisions, resulting in a well-grounded implementation, a faster path to return on investment and ensure all our employees are catered for quickly, accurately, and by promoting self-service. Main Roles and Responsibilities: Reporting to the Payroll & HR Admin Lead you will be part of the HR transactional admin team responsible for delivering an exceptional HR service across the business. In addition to the following : Manage and priorities personal workload to agreed SLAs Handling high volume administrative and transactional activities related to colleague experience On/off boarding, leave management, HR compliance, records management and retention Ensuring all HR documentation is processed accurately and on time to enable to the Payroll admin team to run a weekly and monthly payroll. Identify and rapidly escalate transactions and issues that need further input or resolution, as per SLAs Rapidly escalate transactions and issues that need further input or resolution Skills, Knowledge and Expertise: You are an enthusiastic and energetic HR administrator with exceptional organisational skills, ideally with experience providing support within a fast-paced HR setting. A background working within a transactional services environment, be it legal, financial or consulting, would be ideal however is not essential. Additionally, you will be expected to demonstrate the following requirements: Ability to work flexibly and prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail Tact and discretion for dealing with confidential information Enjoy working with systems and data Good understanding of employment law and legislation
