Marketing & Events Executive

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious Nottingham based software company who offer a creative suite of professional applications for desktop and iPad. This includes the smoothest, fastest photo editing and graphic design software to the most powerful publishing software on the market so they are really pushing the boundaries of what is possible with creative technology. This is a new and varied position where you will support the Marketing Analyst, Email Marketing Coordinator and wider Marketing Team, in the planning and delivery of digital marketing communications for their key product range. This will include: Delivering marketing activity across a wide range of channels and platforms including email marketing (using Mail Chimp / wider tools) and ensuring all digital marketing activity complies with brand guidelines and are styled consistently Providing support to the Marketing Analyst and Email Marketing Coordinator in a wide range of marketing planning, development, delivery, tracking, analysis and reporting Identifying organic (inc. SEO / improved rankings) and paid marketing /exposure on App Stores, working with marketing team to develop content and marketing to increase exposure Identify opportunities for 'in App' ads and investigate, identify and develop targeting messaging and App Store adverts Create digital marketing assets (inc. working with marketing and creative team) to incorporate copy and images from relevant teams /departments Google Analytics - manage, analyse and report, using insights to enhance and optimise (B2C and B2B) website and marketing campaigns Customer and audience segmentation, profile and insights (B2C and B2B) including customer targeting and UX and Customer Journey on / offsite Working with wider marketing team to identify, develop and deliver social media /marketing to increase (positive) customer reviews across App Stores, social media and the website The second part of your job will include responsibility for events. This company have attended and run a number of events in person and virtually over recent years. These have been primarily focussed on B2C audiences across key sector events such as the Photography Show. There is no current events strategy in place so you will work with the marketing and wider team including sales / account management to develop and deliver a range of successful events in the future. This will involve planning and delivering innovative new methods of event delivery, including virtual/digital and considering all elements of the marketing mix, e.g. videos, podcasts, social media and online tools.
