About us Three years ago, the in-house marketing team at Distinct Recruitment didn't exist. Our brand didn't truly reflect our culture, ambition, or personality (our website looked a bit crap too). Since then, quite a lot has happened: We gave our branding an image overhaul and created a whole host of new materials to match. Videos, photography, graphics, PDF's, - you name it, we've probably tried it, even a Distinct chocolate bar wrapper We liked our new gradient look so much, we decided to use it when creating our two new brands: Distinct North America and Distinct Executive We launched, not one, not two, but three new websites We brought in our first Marketing Apprentice, she's a legend and has already taken our content marketing and social media presence to new heights We work with a fantastic b2b agency where collaboration is key, and who we're always looking to try new ideas with Our lead generation strategy has never been stronger, and we're now in a position where we can really showcase marketing as profitable part of our business. You mean we don't just spend money? Okay, we do but we can also show you what we're getting from it. If you're reading this, you'll probably already know that marketing doesn't stand still, and the same can be said for Distinct. Since we started trading in 2016, we've gone from a team of four in West Bridgford to over forty across Nottingham and Milton Keynes. During a year where companies across the country were making redundancies and scaling back plans, we went all in. We invested in our people and launched three new offices in the process, including two in the US. Six years into our journey, our brand shows no sign of slowing down and our marketing needs to move at a quicker pace to keep up. The opportunity That's where you come in. As our Marketing Executive, you will take a lead on the lion's share of our marketing activity in the UK, project-managing campaigns, events, and bringing new ideas to life across our Recruitment and Executive Search brands. You'll have the tools to support you on strategy through working with the company's Marketing Manager and our external Digital Agency, as well as in-house content support from our Digital Marketing Assistant. As a team, we're still learning (all the time), and that won't change anytime soon. So, whilst we want someone to hit the ground running, we understand that you won't know everything yet - and that's okay. If you're passionate about what you do, have an ambition which matches ours, and an eagerness to learn the rest, you'll do well here. What we're looking for: Someone educated to degree level, or with a Marketing qualification At least 2-3 years' experience in a commercial Marketing role, B2B experience preferred. An ability to write briefs, multi-task and prioritise workload to deliver projects on time and within budget. A good communicator (to both internal colleagues and external sources) A decent understanding of how SEO, PPC, Social Media advertising and PR works.
