Oakenholt mill, Flint is home to two paper machines and manufactures tissue 24/7 for use in industry. Our products are key everyday essentials, and the logistics team are key to ensuring that we have the correct flow of materials and deliveries in and out of site. About the Role Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader and working as part of a small team you will keep a track of both in and outbound deliveries by inputting data in two key systems. You will work closely with the planner to both schedule deliveries and arrange collection of goods to ensure a safe flow of traffic in and out of site, adhering to Health, Safety and Quality controls at all times. Collaborative and Inclusive Culture | Empowering & Engaged Leaders | Working with Powerful Purpose & Sustainable Impact | Learning and Growing in your Career | Supporting Well-being & Sustainable Working Life | Life-changing Innovations | Competitive Total rewards LI-JG1 What You Will Do Day to day you will Track both in and outbound deliveries for finished goods and raw materials in internal systems Ensure daily checks are completed on all FLT equipment and act on any faults Complete weekly stock taking activity and resolve any issues highlighted Carry out weekly workplace safety audits in line with guidelines Ensure all standard procedures are adhered to, to ensure a safe working environment Complete thorough and timely handovers Adhere to all Essity Health & Safety regulations, operating procedures, and systems Unload raw materials from incoming wagons and load finished goods for outward dispatch with the aid of a forklift truck Provide support to the manufacturing teams ensuring they always have the correct materials The working pattern for this role is 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. The majority of your working week will be assigned to scheduling, tracking and recording the flow of materials to and from site, however there is a need for the successful candidate to support moving goods around site with the aid of a forklift truck and other equipment, therefore the successful candidate must be prepared to undertake training to secure a fork lift truck licence unless already held. Required profile: Who You Are We would love to hear from you if you have the following Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to a wide range of people Strong time management and organisational skills Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems e.g. SAP (desirable) Experience working with Microsoft Office Excel/Word/PowerPoint (essential) Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment (desirable) A valid UK Forklift truck license (desirable) What we offer: Together, we are improving lives, every day.
