Role Info: Environment, Health & Safety Specialist- Global Leader Cadishead, Greater Manchester, Coventry or Middlesbrough £35,000 £40,000 Plus Excellent Company Benefits Company Car Permanent Full Time Company: Global Distributor of chemicals & ingredients used in everyday products We are looking for an EHS professional to work as part of the EHS&Q team. The role will be based out of the Cadishead, Coventry or Middlesbrough sites in the UK, with expectations of national travel to support other UK&I sites as required. This is a development role. The role will report to the Regional EHS Manager based in the NW but will support all members of the EHS Team and the wider business as required. The UK & I business consists of 6 COMAH sites, 3 non-COMAH operational sites and 4 separate office facilities. The majority of the facilities lie between the Midlands and M62 corridor with facilities also in Dublin & Glasgow. What youll deliver day-to-day: You will help drive EHS standards and support sites and offices across the UK & Ireland. The success of this role will be measured by the standard of support and by personal development. The role is very much hands-on and will involve working with both the EHS team, the Operations teams and Engineering teams to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and Univars own high standards. About You: You will be an EHS professional with the NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum and ideally at least 2 years experience in the chemical industry or in a relevant manufacturing field. You will possess good communication skills. You must also have a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications and be computer literate.
