Sales Manager

Our major Insurance client has an exciting new development which has created the opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to lead a new team. You'll be working with key Partners and Introducers, who in their own right are household names, to provide your business clients with their Insurance needs. Also there will be significant National marketing initiatives which will enable you to follow up other warm, high quality leads, as well as developing existing portfolio of prospects. This role is a hybrid role with office and home-based working. Also you will be responsible for driving your team's success and identifying and supporting their career and personal development requirements. The key responsibilities of the Sales Manager role will include. Initiate and close new business opportunities from potential new clients Selling from across the full range of Group services to develop revenue streams and to build trust Preparation and issuance of new business reports Identify and follow through opportunity areas to grow sales revenue Day to day management support to the team Deliver coaching and training to drive team success and behaviours Provide guidance to the team on products and processes Compliance with Business reporting requirements and FCA regulations To be a successful Sales Manager you will demonstrate: Insurance sales experience with a successful track record of achieving targets Adept at identifying needs, overcoming objections and closing the sale Client relationship management skills Coaching and training abilities Excellent communication skills, both at one to one level, and in presentations Strength in organising performance reports and identifying and communicating trends to Senior Management Leadership by example and championing best practice Able to prioritise effectively and identify and resolve time conflicts Proactive approach to problem solving
