Business Development Manager

Our Fire and Security industry-leading client are seeking a highly motivated and sales-focused Business Development Manager to join their business at a time of rapid transformation and growth. The position is a hybrid field/home based role, ideally based in one of Hampshire, London or Berkshire. An ideal candidate will possess a thorough industry knowledge. A Business Development Manager will: Drive increased revenue, in fire and security to achieve the Company's ambitious growth Generate leads and cold call prospective customers Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes Have a good understanding of the business products or services and be able to advise others about them Help to plan sales campaigns Create a sales network Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases Increase sales of the business Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management/the executive directors Develop the business sales and marketing strategy. To be a successful Business Development Manager: Prior sector experience is essential with installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire and security systems and the successful candidate will have the necessary drive, determination, and sales skill set required for the role. On top of the highly competitive salary is a comprehensive package including: Basic Salary £40,000 - plus generous car allowance. Monthly commission based on sales invoiced, turnover and margin.
