General Manager London B2B Conferences £60 to 80,00030%Benefits (Range depending on experience) General Manager wanted for a very well-known International Conference Organiser based in London, these guys run a number of International B2B Conferences in Energy, Finance and the Automotive sector. As a General Manager you will be fully responsible for Production, Operations, Sales and Marketing departments within the company, managing 8 people , the 1st 4 being the Directors of each department, the 2nd 4 will cover HR, Technology, Finance and Data. You will oversee 50 International events, these range from 150/1000 delegates. PL, Budgets and Strategy, also responsible for Hiring, Firing, Training and Mentoring. 40% of the role will cover the Team, Attraction, Retention and Competency development, 20% Product Quality and Community development, 15% Budgeting and Finance, 15% for Project Management, Teamwork and Collaboration and 10% for Governance and Internal Control. To be considered for this General Manager role the client wants someone who is Data Centric, data is king type of person having worked for another organiser either looking to take a step up into a General Manager role or a plug and play applicant. Must have proven man-management with at least 8 to 12 years' experience, the client would also consider someone coming from an Association, Business Information or a Data companies background. The client wants to build the first data centric and digitally enabled events team in the knowledge business.
