Aftersales & Customer Support Specialist Leading Global Engineering Component Manufacturer Location: UK Flexible/WFH Salary: £35-42,000 car bonus Our client is part of a global business that are market leaders and have demonstrated unprecedented growth in recent years. To support their future plans, we are recruiting for an Aftersales & Customer Support Specialist to support their current business and imminent growth strategy. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, well-organised and have a proven track record of success within the Lift & Escalator industry. The role: To manage individual time on project calls/technical support in accordance with internal & ISO procedures. To be competent in providing design/engineering solutions compliant with relevant industry standards. To build and maintain structured approach to technical support; methods, files, processes. To fully utilise the Companys current IT platforms including the CRM and ERP systems. To liaise with internal/external teams with all related tasks including customer meetings and site surveys. To maintain customer support with claims and analysis. To maintain KPIs with key product development and improvement for sustainability. To provide technical support assistance and manage the allocation of resources. To implement root cause analysis and cost of claims. To attend weekly/periodic meetings/calls on claims and non-conformity reports. To develop continued analysis of packaging/resources for sustainability, cost and environmental objectives. To attend customer meetings and technical site surveys when required To provide electrical and mechanical support of all products and spare parts. To provide design/engineering solutions compliant with relevant industry standards in response to claims. Assist with Quality manual assurance and audits; ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and 14001 The person: Degree qualified, or equivalent, in an electronics or engineering discipline. Proven experience with quality control / root cause analysis Self-motivated with excellent time management & organisational skills Ability to adapt to changes in the workload and prioritise accordingly. Exceptional communication skills, written & verbal, one to one and within a teams based environment Strong IT skills (MS Office) Career motivated with a desire to progress within an international company. Previous experience in the field is essential with a strong understanding of lift installation and modernisation. Willing to travel throughout the UK if and when required.
