The business is very well established and is extremely well respected throughout the U.K. They are looking for an experienced Head of People who will understand their vision, goals, and organisational targets. Role & Responsibilities of the Head of People & Performance: Reporting into the CEO, the new Head of People & Performance will be given the opportunity to innovate, lead and implement a distinctive and progressive HR agenda. Lead an innovative and progressive people agenda that optimises business growth and nourishes the company culture. Facilitate talent, attraction development and retention across the group through innovative learning and development strategies. Deliver a professional HR services function to all company employees. Implement and maintain HR related policies and procedures in line with the needs of the company, recommended best practice and the latest developments in employment legislation. Develop and deliver soft skills training courses in line with business needs and within set budget. Develop and maintain an Employee Engagement strategy which supports change initiatives and promotes a progressive culture within the company including appropriate consultation and communication methods. Make recommendations for reward, recognition and well-being initiatives and support changes to the companys benefits offering to ensure they remain an employer of choice and achieve future Investors in People re-accreditation. Maintain an active interest in current trends in HR and keeping abreast of developments in new and forthcoming legislation in order that advice provided remains relevant, in line with best practise. About You as the Head of People & Performance: Fully CIPD qualified. Proven, progressive HR experience which demonstrates developing and maintaining the strategic direction of HR and the business while driving change, performance and implementing HR programmes and initiatives. The ability to think strategically, with vision and creativity, and an ability to align people to the business agenda. This will be combined with a passion for delivering results and driving operational excellence through a 'hands on' approach. Will have a notable record of leading people and developing and implementing talent management, learning & development and resourcing strategies in multi-sited organisations. Will have successful experience developing people related initiatives and teams while making the most of existing programmes already established across the business. Possess the personal and professional qualities to establish quickly creditability and respect. Able to build strong relationships with and influence the senior leadership team and managers throughout the UK operations. Kind, thoughtful, collaborative and considered with strong emotional intelligence Resilient, persuasive, curious and determined Will have a strong intellect and take personal responsibility for personal and function performance.
