Single Point of Contact (SPOC)

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The SPOC will be responsible for managing a high-portfolios containing millions of dollars of delinquent residential and/or commercial loans on behalf of Bayview’s investor clients. The SPOC will be responsible for implementing the best possible workout that meets the borrower’s needs and financial circumstances, maximizes investor’s returns, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory, contractual, and policy-mandated requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyzes portfolios and determines a strategy to execute workload size of the SPOC’s loan portfolio

• Identifies the borrower’s current and potential future financial situation to effectively predict and plan for all loan scenarios

• Responsible for the completion of compliance related tasks in order to meet department, company or SLA (Service Loan Agreement) guidelines • Following up with modification application requests

• Prioritize tasks based on production cost-benefit analysis

• Negotiates with authorized third parties on behalf of investor clients on short sales • Determines when to recommend exceptions to investor clients for workouts whose structures fall outside of investor guidelines

• Secures and preserves the value of properties which serve as collateral for loans

• Proposes solutions to meet the borrower’s intentions while maximizing loss mitigation to investor clients within investor guidelines

• Follows and abides by the company and the investor client guidelines when obtaining, reviewing, and verifying completed financial information from borrowers

• Works closely with the appropriate departments to keep loan files up to date

• Makes and follows up on all calls from borrowers s in a timely fashion

• Moving deals through the pipeline and ensuring conditions are met for modifications

• Responsible for meeting monthly production goals

• Responsible for documenting all activities and decisions in regards to loans

• Offer explanation or input of what actions should be taken to determine if the company will be subject to any liability of regulatory/compliance infractions

• Other duties as assigned by management

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

• Ability to communicate effectively, professional and show a high level of confidence when communicating with the borrowers • Ability to meet challenges head-on and enjoy competitive success

• Excellent written communication skills

• Knowledge of various bankruptcy and foreclosure regulations a positive

• Good computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel

• Professional demeanor and appearance

• Proven ability to manage time effectively

• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations

• Willingness and aptitude to learn new tasks

• Basic mathematics knowledge and ability to work comfortably with numbers

• Proven record of achievement, innovation and resourcefulness in your prior work experience

• Willingness and ability to work in fast paces environment to handle large volume of loans

• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills • Understand sale lifecycle EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or other related field is highly preferred

• Prefer 1 to 2 years Loss Mitigation / Loan Workout experience

• Prefer 1 to 2 years’ experience in sales
