Family Office Accountant

An investment management firm in California is actively seeking a dynamc and hardworking professional to join their staff as their new Family Office Accountant. In this role, the Family Office Accountant will perform various functions in the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process.


The Family Office Accountant will:

  • Manage multiple bank accounts, including processing of wires, capital calls, bill pay, and the monthly reconciliation of the accounts
  • Compile and manage information for the preparation of partnership and individual tax returns
  • Ensure investment activity is properly booked in the accounting records
  • Retrieve and compile relevant financial information for investor correspondence
  • Assist in the ongoing management of investments and cash flows
  • Assist in a wide variety of projects as reasonably assigned
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-4 years of audit experience
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds 
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized
Desired skills
  • Experience in financial services, Big 4, or mid-tier audit firm
  • Knowledge of advanced features in Excel (e.g. Macros, V-look ups)
