Overview of Help Desk Specialist position:

  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolves
  • Document all incidents and occurrences using clear, concise, and detailed notes
  • Provide technical assistance to users
  • Deploy and install new software
  • Troubleshoot and support issues related to computer systems, software or hardware issues
  • Regularly monitor the internal help desk system for pending tickets
  • Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
  • Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
  • Work with vendor support during technical planning, implementation and issue resolution steps

Qualifications of Help Desk Specialist:

  • Minimum 3 years professional experience
  • Windows preferred
  • Microsoft preferred
