Direct Support Professional

Business Interface Staffing Services is focused on identifying and recruiting top talent for clerical, customer service, administrative and professional positions. We're looking for dedicated individuals who are inspired and motivated to care for our youth with mild to profound developmental disabilities, some of whom also have physical disabilities and medical issues. Our community needs hard working, dependable, compassionate, and motivated individuals to give themselves to help enrich the lives of our youths.
Provide short-term case management services to youth and their family and supportive services on as needed basis.
  • Knowledge of providing services and supervision to teens ages 10-18 with emotional, medical, behavioral disability.
  • Knowledge of narrative report writing, paying strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of behavior management such as understanding, explaining, describing, and predicting behavior, studying the connection between behavior and it’s causes, and identifying appropriate behavior modification strategies for individual situations.
  • Observes youth behavior and adjustment to programs and exchanges written and oral reports on those observations with other staff daily
  • Assessing our youth needs, facilitating client care by working with other support professionals and having compassion to encourage and assist with their social adjustment.
  • Ensure safety to the youth by helping to redirect behaviors, being mentoring to provide help in a positive atmosphere for our youth an staff.
  • Establishes and maintains interpersonal relationships when working with our youth, including being sensitive to their emotional needs when they are in pain or in extreme distress.
  • Overseeing daily activities such as recreation, treatment, activities, meals, self-care, transportation or education.
  • Coordinate and monitor progress with therapists, supervisors, and youth specialists to meet individualized treatment.

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must be in possession of a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Ability to successfully clear pre-employment drug test and criminal background.
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License (not suspended, revoked, cancelled, or disqualified from driving.
