Head Brewer

  • Monitor ingredient inventories.
  • Evaluation of raw ingredients and finished product.
  • Ensure all recipes and brewing SOPs are followed correctly.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing/manufacturing environment.
  • Minimize waste and maximize production efficiencies within production areas.
  • Sanitation of equipment as needed/directed. Perform daily CIPs. Must be able to handle caustic and alkaline chemicals safely and responsibly.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
  • Track and maintain records of equipment operations in logbook. This information needs to be accurate, organized, and timely.
  • Must be able to multi-task and stay focused on objectives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The work environment is a self-managed position with daily direction and communication with the Brewmaster.
  • Oversee training for part time employees.
  • Manage and run canning line.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene, follow SOPs and maintain a clean, safe and sanitary workplace. Immediately report any situation that may cause the product to be contaminated or compromised.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack in close areas.
  • Be flexible in shift and overtime availability.
  • Need to be able to lift 55 lbs. throughout the shift
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
