Free Family Thanksgiving Point Membership which includes, free visits too all venues, discounts on food, retail, summer camps and classes, free or discounted tickets to nearly 50 Thanksgiving Point events, like Tulip Festival and Luminaria, each year.
Position Summary:
A Guest Experiences Supervisor at Museum of Ancient Life is responsible to help manage the day-to-day operations of the venue. She/he will assist the manager and assistant manager in running the admission desk, gift shop and cafe while ensuring remarkable guest service and providing a clean, safe and organized environment for team members and guests alike.
Essential Functions:
Responsible to assist the manager and assistant manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the venue admissions to ensure remarkable guest services, clean and orderly environment, and promotion of other services, venues, and products at Thanksgiving Point.
Responsible to motivate, and manage team members.
Responsible to constantly improve team member's ability to "GET" our guests.
Responsible to work in tandem with facilitation/programming staff to ensure lines of communication are open and effective with an aim to recognize common goals for guest experience.
Responsible to ensure the growth of Thanksgiving Point's Membership program, keeping team members focused on making guests aware of the benefits of membership.
Responsible to handle and resolve guest complaints in a positive manner to ensure remarkable guest services.

Shifts Hours and Days Required:
Mon-Sat, all Holidays and school breaks, (closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Sundays) Mostly evening shifts but will do some days shifts. Evening shifts are from 3-9 pm, days shifts are 9:45 am to 3 pm.

Required Skills and Experience:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have completed (will complete) "Guest Experience Training" and "Managing Guest Experience Training" and demonstrated excellent guest service skills and abilities.
Demonstrated independent decision-making skills as well as ability to work effectively as a team member
Must have excellent organizational skills
Must be able to work rotating hours and days and evenings during the week including Saturdays and holidays.
Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
Must have a positive attitude and the ability to be flexible and resilient in the face of change and a fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Education & Experience
Experience in customer service, hospitality and/or youth leadership
One year of experience in a supervisory role
High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour
