Shelter Worker

Shifts will vary. Employee must be able to provide Shelter coverage for a variety of shifts including but not limited to evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, days, unplanned events and planned events. Schedule is typically 36 hours every other week. Employee will be aware of work schedule in advance. Duties include transportation, using seat belts as required by law. The Shelter Worker will spend time cleaning, providing activities such as support groups, sorting donations, and handling emergencies. Responsibilities also include answering crisis line, conducting intake interviews, and providing assistance to residents in shelter. Must have your own reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and liability car insurance.'
