EDGE Fall Protection (EFP) solves problems related to fall protection hazards in the workplace. Customers look to us for expertise on existing OSHA rules and regulations, guidance on the new or upcoming OSHA standards, consultation on upcoming projects, product knowledge within the industry, and providing the actual products that prevent workplace accidents caused by falls. We are here to help people: Architects, Engineers, EHS professionals, Building Owners, Property Managers, General Contractors, and anyone else who could potentially benefit from fall protection.

Working as part of a small company (< 10 people), you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow quickly while solving problems in this Sales and Project Management position. It is imperative that applicants are willing to learn and take on new tasks as they arise. We strive to build a team of safety professionals that can support one another and our customers.

Job Description

The role is an inside sales position with an emphasis on project management. Our sales people are expected to know the intricaies of our products and provide our customers with the best possible solution to their issue. The role may include an opportunity to travel to projects across the United States to ensure correct project implementation, evaluations of fall protection hazards for customers, developing safety plans and procedures, and the building and maintaining of relationships.

Finding, identifying, and correcting fall protection hazards involves a significant amount of problem solving. No rooftop, mezzanine, structure, jobsite, or steel mill are alike. Creativity alongside analytical and spatial reasoning skills play an important role in the project management role of EDGE Fall Protection.

Expected Outcomes of this Position:

  • $1,000,000 in sales year 1
  • Communicate with inbound leads within 20 minutes first by phone, then by email.
  • Three touch points with each customer within 36 hours
  • Complete 1-5 Rock tasks (goals within the company that allow the company to grow and operate more efficiently) each 90 days, as determined in quarterly meetings
  • Within 90 days have a thorough understanding of main products and OSHA fall protection standards
  • Within 180 days have a thorough understanding of all products offered and their appropriate application

Work Experience and Education

- Construction or manufacturing experience

- Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred

- Sales experience or Business Degree

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay is comprised of a base wage and will be determined based off applicant’s experience. Significant room for advancement within the company.

- Commission based off hitting targeted goals and performance

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
