About the role:
GDS is looking to add an ambitious, entrepreneurial Account Executive who will help to build sales for our new software business. This role requires the experience and network to drive software sales for a software platform that transforms the way we engage with our global audiences.

Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast pace results oriented sales environment and will have the drive, determination and passion to bring a brand new, game changing SaaS product to market.

Success in this role requires taking ownership of the sales pipeline and process, from prospecting new leads, to leading pitch meetings with enterprise customers through to negotiating deals.

As one of the members of the software team in our New York Office, Account Executives will have opportunities to expand their roles and responsibilities, contribute to the company's go-to-market strategy and competitive positioning and be a key member of the growing team.

Key Responsibilities And Essential Functions

  • Meet annual revenue goals and new business objectives.
  • Research, develop, and manage new and existing commercial opportunities through in-person events, outbound pitches, and inbound requests
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM to track activities, manage pipeline, and inform strategic decision-making at the firm
  • Help draft sales material, including client proposals, marketing documents, and case studies
  • Partner internally with client services team members, other GDS sales teams and legal, finance and other stakeholders to drive urgency and secure commercial outcomes
  • Develop and execute territory plans to drive growth for annual goals
  • Strong prospecting skills and experience engaging with C-level/Senior Executives
  • Work collaboratively with Product, Marketing, and Commercial leadership to support the development and launch of new services.

About you:

  • 5 years+ experience in software sales focused on new business
  • Proven track record of professional success and quota attainment
  • Intellectual curiosity, self-starter and results oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • BS/BA or equivalent
