AVP, Analytics - TJX

Role Summary/Purpose:

The AVP, Analytics - TJX (Digital & Loyalty) role will provide strategic analytics support and work closely with the Analytics Leader and the Loyalty Marketing VP to build and execute the portfolio’s loyalty capabilities roadmap using 1st and 3rd party data share and digital as its two principal levers. The role will partner extensively with internal cross-functional COE teams as well as with the client team to execute on their job responsibilities. The ideal candidate must have a passion for data analysis, be familiar with contemporary digital, CRM and big data tools, and bring a strong consultative mindset to implement different and new capabilities for the portfolio.

This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. We’re proud to offer you choice and flexibility.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Embrace a consultative approach to identify, learn, and solve data and analytics problems by understanding and interpreting the needs of customers, partners, and stakeholders

  • Work with the Analytics leader to develop and enhance the TJX data share roadmap

  • Activate data share for the portfolio, including but not limited to:

    • Set up of joint data share platform for retailer 1st and 3rd-party data to inform prospecting and cardholder engagement

    • Working with Credit and Analytics to implement acquisition use cases

    • Working with Credit and Analytics to implement credit line and credit product use cases

    • Working with Client Marketing to implement marketing use cases

    • Working with Client to continuously enhance first- and third-party data share

  • Co-lead business case development in build and enhance the digital capability roadmap for TJX

  • Activate digital use cases for the portfolio, including but not limited to:

    • Measurement and optimization of digital rewards strategies and tactics

    • Measurement and optimization of paid media acquisition strategies and tactics

    • Development of attribution methodologies and models for marketing campaigns

  • Establish a strong working partnership with platform digital and data share analytics and product teams and with client teams, including regular working rhythms and cadences

  • Develop and manage multiple analytics products & solutions roadmaps; guide product owners / managers on backlog prioritization

  • Lead working sessions with cross-functional groups to design, architect and drive / capture requirements for new and innovative data and analytics solutions

  • Support Ad-hoc projects when required

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited institution, OR in lieu of degree, 9+ years of progressive experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience including:
    • 3+ years of experience with statistical analysis and database tools such as SAS, SQL or open-source tools such as R and Python
    • 2 years of experience with one or more web analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics)

Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline

  • Experience with one or more web analytics and big data tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics)

  • Knowledge of common business intelligence and data visualization platforms and tools

  • Ability to influence senior corporate decision makers

  • Strong communicator that can summarize complex problems and projects into clear and succinct messages

  • Experience in managing scope and expectations of cross-functional stakeholders will be a highly desirable skill

  • Ability to innovate and find creative solutions to meeting business goals

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must have at least a “consistently meets expectations” performance rating and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance requirement).

The salary range for this position is 80,000.00 - 170,000.00 USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
