Finance Manager - FP&A

Job Duties: [1] - [2]

Primary Duties:

  • Facilitates executive management business performance reviews, including variance analysis and the subsequent presentation of forecasts and analysis
  • Delivers innovative, high value-added financial information to the management team for tactical and strategic decision making
  • Leads overhead budgeting, reporting, and analysis including staffing approval process, bonus, benefits, and intercompany allocations
  • Analyzes monthly financial results to identify issues and opportunities for improvement; Collaborates with senior leadership to analyze and propose potential solutions to drive improved business results
  • Develops new reporting tools to enhance visibility and creates financial models for profitability analysis, the growth drivers that increase staffing levels, and professional fees
  • Facilitates planning initiatives enterprise wide, including development of detailed templates, consolidation of budgets, and detailed analysis of revenue and expense drivers
  • Partners with stakeholders throughout the company to ensure financial management responsibilities are understood and financial goals are exceeded
  • Conducts ad-hoc analysis and leads various business projects using financial systems tools to improve financial processes and increase productivity
  • Other duties as required and assigned


Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of corporate finance experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years corporate financial planning and analysis experience preferred
  • Experience with building and interpreting complex financial models
  • PC literate to include Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions.
