Financial Analyst - Company Consolidation

This is a great growth opportunity for an experienced Financial Analyst that enjoys challenging analytical work & spearheading process improvement initiatives to provide insightful solutions that grow the company profitability. This person will have the opportunity to interact with enterprise-wide teams and impact the company’s bottom line. The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced, high pressure environments where they can improve processes and create efficiencies while also providing accurate, timely and insightful financial and operational analysis.
Lead consolidation of the annual EBITDA budgeting process including:
Develop Planning timeline and meeting cadence
Generate expense targets built off historical operational KPIs, trend, and known initiatives
Facilitate consolidation of budget inputs and provide insight on variances
Create budget decks reviewed with Senior Leadership team
Lead and coordinate budget updates when necessary
Lead point of contact for Hyperion and other systematic process improvements
Continuously looks to simplify finance processes, including but not limited to, process automation, improved use of technology, reporting & documentation, communication, and alignment with business partners
Serve as the main driver/coordinator for the monthly EBITDA forecasting process
Owner of budget & forecast excel modeling – build & maintain complicated excel models to be used for leadership and executive overviews
Work with Accounting team to align on monthly Close results
Develop and maintain relationships with departmental expense budget owners
Develops reporting to influence financial and expense decision-making and support EBITDA improvement.
Perform ad hoc analysis on all areas of the business

Minimum Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 2 years Financial Analysis experience with a proven track record of increasing responsibility, preferably within FP&A (retail a plus)

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to use query tools and databases (Hyperion Essbase a plus).
  • Ability to design and implement process improvements.
