GENERAL SUMMARY: Solvere Technical Group currently has a full-time position for a SharePoint Developer supporting the US Coast Guard in Glen BUrnie, MD. This position will be filled by an applicant that has proven experience developing applications around the core concepts of business process management, collaboration, work flows, business intelligence and content management.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate shall provide development and maintenance services in support of the USCG’s SharePoint-based PACT Tool.

2.2 The candidate shall provide administrative support for governance meetings led or directly supported by APO personnel, as required. This includes the following tasks and tasks of a similar nature, developing dashboards, read-ahead, agendas, meeting minute note-taking, and managing attendance and email distribution lists.

2.3 The candidate shall provide general IT support related to the APO Share Point site.

2.4 Documentation. The Contractor shall support the APO in coordinating and facilitating weekly status reports. The Contractor shall present the status of planned tasks, update the project management system (MS Project, SharePoint, and USCG Portal) to reflect the current status, and identify tasks that are at risk for successful completion. The Contractor shall prepare action items for review and approval by the APO.

2.5 The candidate shall provide administration of workflows.

2.6 The candidate shall provide data analytics, and process documentation.

2.7 The candidate shall continue to support APO as required in the development and support of dashboards, metrics, briefings, and reports to meet leadership and stakeholder requirements.

2.8 The candidate shall evaluate APO projects for standardizations and compliance of established practices, providing recommendations to the APO monthly.

2.9 The candidate shall analyze and document technical options for implementing a user-friendly SharePoint site, to include the evaluation of current SharePoint capabilities as well as other applications within the USCG environment. This will include analyzing USCG infrastructure, network, security, and other technical requirements needed to implement and host the platform.

2.10 The candidate shall support the implementation of a re-designed user interface, using SharePoint Designer, HTML, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

1. Knowledge of SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013 platforms

2. Must have a good understanding of SharePoint Server

3. Demonstrated ability to synthesize business requirements into system functionality within the SharePoint framework

4. Experience with SharePoint configuration through the web UI

5. Experience in the implementation of SharePoint collaboration tools (forums/issue lists, document/form libraries, etc.) and the ability to seamlessly integrate with other Microsoft tools

6. SharePoint specific required skills; customizing web parts and web part pages; creating sites, document libraries, lists and views; search and taxonomies

7. Experience with SharePoint branding to include creating and editing graphics, master pages, Hsecurity, instrumentation, exception handling, SharePoint branding and support of large, complex, or enterprise-wide solutions

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is desirable
Minimum 3 years of SharePoint experience is required.

Microsoft SharePoint Application Development certification is desirable

SharePoint Administrator certification is desirable

SQL experience, preferable MS SQL, is desirable

Security Requirements: Must pass a NACI Background check

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $73,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
