Job Summary

To ensure guest satisfaction by transporting guests and their belongings to and from the local airport to the hotel in a timely and safe manner. To ensure guest satisfaction by providing guests with a clean, welcoming, comfortable and safe transportation experience. Our reputation has been built on excellent service and quality work. Essential Functions

1. Creates guest satisfaction and exceeds expectations by providing the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality.
a. Transport gusets and their belongings to and from the airport and local area.
b. Assist customers with getting in and out of vehicle as well as carrying their luggage.
c. Support Housekeeping Department with morning tasks
d. Assist guests with loading and unloading of luggage out of shuttle vans, and luggage carts.
e. Assist with breakfast area setup and clean up
f. Maintain a clean work area at all times.
g. Preform safety inspection of the shuttle van every shift, document and report issues.
h. Report any maintenance problems to Engineering Department. Assist when needed to address issues or complaints.
i. Respond to all guest requests in a courteous and timely manner.
j. Make sure all equipment is in good working order before use each day.
k. Report and deliver lost & found items to the appropriate office/department.
l. Ensures superior and "spotless" guest service.
m. Familiar with the surrounding area and able to transport guests in a safe, efficient manner.
n. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
o. Empty all trash containers and replace with fresh liners
p. Clean and vacuum exterior entry, public areas, and hallways
q. Document and store any lost and found items according to policy
r. Sign appropriate keys in and out at beginning and end of shift
s. Promptly handles guest requests and refers to supervisor if unable to handle
t. Ensures that shuttle vans are secured upon leaving the area.
i. Maintain guest security and privacy
2. Aligns with the company’s service standards to build and reinforce skills that create a lasting service culture that provides caring, comfortable and consistent experiences.
a. Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
b. Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems. Provides genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
c. Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and works to resolve
3. In addition to specific duties that come with an individual’s job responsibilities, each job also includes "other duties as assigned." From time to time, employees may be required to perform duties or tasks of a fellow employee who is absent or for a position that is temporarily vacant. Employees will be compensated at their regular rate of pay while performing other assigned duties on a temporary basis.
4. All drivers are banned from texting while operating a vehicle. Hands-free device is provide or pull over and come to a complete stop before using a cell phone. Follow relevant safety regulations and state laws governing vehicle operations and ensure that passengers follow safety regulations.

Qualification Standards

1. Strong attention to detail
2. Must have a clean DMV record with no incidents or charges.
3. Must be an experienced, reliable, safe driver.
4. Responsible for the safety and upkeep of the company van
5. Works well independently or as part of a team
6. Commitment to exceptional guest service and a positive attitude
7. Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel
8. Perform repetitive hand and arm movements
9. Ability to pull, push up to 80 pounds and ability to stand for long periods of time
10. Ability to work well on multiple tasks at the same time.
11. Ability to be friendly and cheerful; interact easily with strangers.
12. Ability to cooperate with and support others.
13. Ability to observe, react quickly and adjust to different guest situations.
14. Ability for strong organizational skills and strong detail orientation.
15. Grooming and overall appearance must meet property standards.

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
