You will be part of a small and growing team of BI developers located across the US, focused on delivering data that fuels actionable insights to help our customers, and ultimately, patients. In this remote role, you’ll be empowered and encouraged to think “outside the box” to develop innovative solutions to drive business and the industry forward. Not only are you incredibly collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, but also you consider yourself to be a SQL expert (PostgreSQL).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop and deploy reporting solutions for Phase I-IV clinical trials
  • Participate in customer planning and requirements gathering
  • Manage development lifecycle of report generation (development, test/QA, UAT, bug fix/retest cycles)
  • Ensure proper documentation of SQL code and report deployments in GitHub
  • Meet customer requirements and timelines for report deliverables
  • Maintain and support portfolio of standard and custom reports
  • Support consultative relationships with key business stakeholders, proactively identifying and addressing BI needs to meet business needs, along with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Provide support to convert ideas and business needs into meaningful report/dashboard designs and data requirements
  • Support the development of a standard process for defining data requirements, managing governance, and creating BI reports and dashboards for use throughout the organization

SKILLS:

  • Expert in SQL programming, database structures and schemas
  • Proficient with Business Intelligence Platforms (i.e. Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, TIBCO Spotfire, etc.)
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, formulae, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Demonstrated and proven project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with a customer service focus and mindset
  • Understanding of Lean and continuous improvement (Kaizen) principles preferred
