Epidemiologist

ABOUT THE POSITION

The JPS Center for Epidemiology & Healthcare Delivery Research (CEHDR) invites applications for an institutionally funded Epidemiologist position. CEHDR is a research department embedded within a safety-net health system that provides leadership and expertise for developing, conducting, and interpreting research for improving population health and advancing health equity. We encourage applications from candidates with interest in HIV, pharmacoepidemiology, implementation, or health behavior research. This position will collaborate with researchers, clinical staff, and community partners to conduct epidemiologic and health services research to improve health outcomes and healthcare delivery for people living with HIV. Key functions include:

  • Evidence synthesis using systematic review and meta-analysis
  • Design, analysis, and interpretation of experimental, quasi-experimental, and observational studies
  • Development of funding proposals, IRB protocols, manuscripts, and reports
  • Coordination of multiple simultaneous research and quality improvement projects
