Commercial Learning + Development, Training Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Excellent employment opportunity for a Commercial Learning + Development, Training Coordinator in the Foster City, CA area.
  • This position may be remote with travel to Foster City, CA up to 25% of time, specifically during training events. Relocation to Foster City HQ not required.

  • The CL+D Training Coordinator is a centralized role that supports the Commercial Training and Development teams and events by planning, scheduling, tracking, and organizing routine processes for the training function.
  • Will need to be detailed, flexible, and take strong ownership of project needs and priorities.
  • The role will sit within CL+D Learning Operations, however, they will interact with the training and on-boarding teams as well as with training participants, hotels, catering, shipping, shared services, internal learners, and other staff as needed.
  • Provide quick and efficient coordination to both new and existing learners by assisting with training's and CL+D events.
  • Contributes to improving coordination processes and utilizing new systems/tools.
  • Manages CL+D roster for all learners by tracking vacancies, new hire start dates and important training touchpoint dates and deadlines.
  • Plans and leads/co-leads welcome calls for new field members
  • Prepares and distributes all training communications such as Welcome Letter and supporting materials.
  • Works with Training Managers to schedule speakers and sends invitations to all training events.
  • Manages hotel room block and confirms participant reservations.
  • Assists with event ordering: Catering, Audio Visual, and Facilities requests
  • Communicates with hiring managers/supervisors as needed to ensure participation in training events.
  • Maintains training schedules of offerings and facilitator assignments.
  • Works with Learning Operations team to confirm participant learning progress for in-person and virtual training delivery within the Learning Management System.
  • Ensures records are complete for each training program.
  • Ensures any required materials have been ordered/printed and shipped prior to training program.
  • Schedules training rooms for both in-person and virtual learning sessions.
  • Archives participant and facilitator materials to file sharing sites as needed.
  • Works with other members of the team to provide follow-up post training.
  • Collaborates effectively with our vendor and agency partners.
  • Supports in-person and virtual classroom set-up and break-down (materials, technology, etc.).
  • Orders Welcome baskets, Graduation baskets and prepares Certificates of Completion.
  • Interacts with internal and external learners, by meeting regularly, responding to requests and explaining procedures.
  • Interprets and executes policies that affect work processes and personnel.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Software including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, virtual technology (e.g., Zoom), and collaboration tools like Teams.
  • Excellent communications (listening, verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with a focus on excellent customer service
  • Ability to work independently while also being collaborative and effectively working with multiple levels of leadership and stakeholders
  • Organizational skills, time management, problem-solving, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks are all prerequisites of an effective project manager
  • Ability to organize and work under strict time and production deadlines, while producing quality deliverables.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
