Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant

We are a wellness medical practice looking for a full time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team, and work in a cutting-edge functional medicine and aesthetics environment. We are a health optimization and longevity center that is disrupting the traditional health care model and rapidly expanding.

BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION: The Advanced Practice Provider shall function in providing appropriate and safe medical care to patients within their scope of practice, as well as provide direction and supervision to the registered nurses, and medical assistants. Provides continuity of individual patient care and assuring a well-controlled, clean environment for the quality care of patients. Acts as a liaison between nursing staff and medical director. Analyzes, evaluates, and implements nursing and medical services to promote continuous quality improvement.

SKILLS: Demonstrates and exceeds expectations of interpersonal and communication skills among team members and patients. Ability to work independently within scope of practice and as a team player. Possesses self-initiative, creativity, and motivation. Ability to collaborate with supervisors, patients, and other medical providers. Manages time effectively and completes task as assigned. Safely administer injections, infusions of IV fluids, intramuscular injections, hormone therapies, cellular therapies. Sets plan for improvement of patients through medical recommendations, prescriptions, herbal/supplemental remedies, hormone optimization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Obtain an accurate medical history and ensure that patients receive thorough pre & post treatment instructions.

- Demonstrates competency in planning and preparing for the care of all patients.

- Patient flow and contact.

- Lab results review and recommendations.

- Supervise the maintenance inventory of IV ingredients ( quantity and safety).

- Assesses each patient’s physical and emotional status.

- Follows up on patient calls and questions in a timely manner.

- Develops and implements corrective action plans, policies, and procedures necessary for the provision of overall clinical care with a focus on the delivery of high quality, nearing luxury, patient care as possible.

- Prepares workstation, daily paperwork, and documentation daily.

- Check work area for adequate stock supplies daily.

- Maintains adequate inventory of supplies and equipment in a cost-effective manner.

- Performs intravenous infusions, injections, and treatments under Medical Director

- The ability to cross promote all the services that the practice has to offer (i.e., laser, skincare, body sculpting, and cosmetic injections).

Experience: Must have 2-3 years experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
