Join a great team of professionals and support projects that impact the company nationwide!  The HR Services Representative supports and collaborates with all Departments, Leaders and Team Members across HGV to help in navigating through the organization! This role focuses on providing customer service to all Team Member inquiries or issues via phone, chat, Webforms and email.  A successful candidate will have experience advising, providing insights, sharing resources, and able to apply keen problem-solving skills, while driving consistency in HR processes. This role is the centralization of HR processes and procedures across the organization.
Additional Responsibilites include: 
  • Providing timely, personalized resources that parallels the industry-leading service they provide to our Guests

  • Delivering first call resolution and providing high touch customer service that delivers and exceeds service levels and business performance goals
  • Answering TM inquiries in support of all HR functions
  • Directly advancing to appropriate COE for expedient resolution when Team Member is negatively impacted
  • Proactively identifying trends and quickly advancing to leadership and COE’s to resolve the root cause
  • Upholding consistency in the delivery of information, policies and procedures
  • Imparting source information to Team Members that allows them to know where to find and apply information in the future and sharing ways to use the Oracle ESS and MSS functionality
  • Supporting global initiatives with knowledge
Performing various centralized HR tasks and inquiries including but not limited to:
  • UFirst support
  • Correcting accuracy of HRIS data entry with appropriate approvals
  • Payroll inquiries and discrepancies: Intake of garnishments, IRS lock letters, Low Earnings regarding UE and NY PFL payments to Payroll; Processing biweekly parental leave pay
  • Benefit deduction and eligibility awareness
  • Tuition Reimbursement and GED processing
  • GoHilton complaints that are completed by HR Business Partners; GoHilton long term tenure submission
  • STD/LTD eligibility verification, Subpoena assistance, PTO discrepancies
  • Unemployment validation of work dates and termination reasons
  • Sophisticated verification of employment requests that require additional information not available through The Work Number
  • Use a Case Management tool to respond to all issues efficiently and meet service levels set out in Service Level Agreements
  • Delivering on additional requests and responsibilities requested by Leadership

  • 2+years of related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work independently and have productive work habits to deliver results and meet time lines
  • Pay close attention to detail as well as able to handle confidential information
  • Strong digital literacy with ability to learn and adapt to new technology and platforms
  • Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and company guidelines or policies
  • Agility to learn on the fly and implement new processes and software

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Associate's Degree/College Diploma/Cepeg
  • HR Certifications
  • 3+years related experience
