This position is based in Waikoloa, HI but our company operates nationally with an emphasis on large regional malls.

Assistant General Manager – Kings’ Shops

Assisting the General Manager, you will be a point of contact for all owner, tenant and staff communications, as well as leading the center by oversight in all areas including but not limited to Accounting, Leasing, Marketing, Operations and Tenant Relations:

Principle Responsibilities:

Accounting/ Financial

  • Develop and implement annual budget including capital expenditures
  • Prepare financial reports and monthly variance reporting
  • Work with on-site and corporate accounting team
  • Ensure adherence to budget
  • Drive NOI


  • Work with leasing team to formulate a merchandise and lease plan for the center
  • Drive specialty leasing efforts thru new business and tenant retention
  • Maximize occupancy


  • Drive center marketing efforts including management of the following:
    • Advertising contracts
    • Social media campaigns
    • On-site events
    • Community outreach
    • Weekly activities and entertainment
    • Magazine production/ photo shoots
    • Newsletters


  • Maintain safety, cleanliness and integrity of all areas of the center
  • Oversee the coordination and supervision of all tenant and landlord construction projects

Tenant Relations

  • Exhibit best communication and support to merchants in an effort to ensure strong tenant retention
  • Conduct quarterly merchant meetings

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree or related field and/or 3-5 years in retail property management.
  • Understanding of financial aspects of property performance
  • Excellent skills in navigating the internet, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to easily learn and use new systems.
