Call Center Representative

Summary

This position will be responsible for operating the Customer CARE line, handling the Company’s Complaint Management System and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of documents created during the course of dealership transactions each day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answering customer service calls.
  • Logging customer service calls using the Company’s tracking software.
  • Escalating customer complaints to the appropriate level of management.
  • Assisting with the completion of reports related to the daily transactional review, as well as the customer service line.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your direct manager.
  • Follow company policies and procedures and support company mission, vision, values and standards of ethics.
  • Daily attendance required to ensure all duties are completed in a timely fashion.

Work Schedule/Hours

Must be available to work between the hours of 7am to 8pm Monday thru Saturday. A 40 hour schedule will be assigned to you between that time frame. Alternating Saturdays. Occasional split days off. Schedule and/or hours may be adjusted with a need for overtime hours or reduced work depending upon business demand.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data, financial reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policies and/or procedures manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and/or the general public.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Computer Operations

Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, Microsoft Suite which includes Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. Be able to master Company’s purchased commercial and Company specific software.

Planning/Organization

Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
